The house of Joakim Ek brings together two teenagers with rather unhappy backgrounds: Moloch, a murder survivor whose childhood was ruined by his near-death-experience, and Kataleya, a teenage girl who has been the victim of bullying for all her life. However, he forgets to take into consideration the possibility that the relationship between the two doesn't work as it should.
In addition, Moloch is forced to work for a mafia that hosts a "red room" show on the infamous deep web. Still, he is given a fairly normal life- he lives with a young psychiatrist named Agnes Joens and is friends with Juho, a young rebel.
Meanwhile, Kataleya is trying to sort her life out, from family relationships to orientations. But with a grandfather that seems to despise her and a friend whose mixed signals lead her even deeper into confusion, that seems impossible.
There is a twisted road ahead of the two outcasts and they have to find a way to make it out together, hopefully safe.

Michael's Ghost Girl
This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him. Instead, the two of them keep each other company, and their friendship very quickly escalates into a romantic and intimate relationship. Despite having Mikayla, Jay's troubles continue to burden him. He and Mikayla are fighting habitually, his home life is still unbearable, and his time at school is hardly any better, made worse by a bully named Calvin. Their mutual dislike of one another leads to a lot of hostility, routinely leading to Jay being sent to his school's principal. One confrontation in particular goes much too far, resulting in Jay's expulsion from school. With everything seemingly piling up, Jay is very close to his breaking point, and late one night he is blindsided by the unthinkable, pushing him much too far and effectively planting in his mind a cruel and horrific plan for revenge.Complete
