"You're sick," she spat out at him, her face scrunching up, disgusted by his actions. How could someone be so cruel?
He chuckled darkly, slowly striding towards her, his half empty glass of whiskey dangling loosely in his grip. He placed it softly behind her on the mantelpiece, his hands now placed either side of her head, trapping her.
Her face was void of emotion, but her sharp intakes of breath revealed how she truly felt. His presence affected her, and their close proximity seemed to do something to his heart.
He brought his hand up to her glossy black hair, tucking it behind her ear like he always liked it, "I'm not sick, I'm twisted. You make it sound like there's a cure."
