Every one know the story of how my older sister, Katniss Everdeen, the girl on fire, and her fellow tribute, Peeta Mellark, won The Hunger Games. This is my story, when I, Primrose Everdeen, was picked to compete in the 76th Hunger Games. ~~~~ I was reaped once, for the 74th annual Hunger Game. I was 12, my first year being entered. My sister promised me nothing would go wrong, even gave me a mockingjay pin to protect me. We both went to the reaping, and my name was pulled. Let me just say, the odds were not in my favor. Katniss volunteered. I screamed and begged her not to go, but she did, for me. She protected me. Like the mockingjay pin, she was my mockingjay. It;s been five years since then, I’m 17 now. THE HUNGER PANGS HAVE HIT US ALL... •In the ruins of a place known as the United States of Canada lies the nation of Happy Funland, a city of mass inbreeding and partying surrounded by twelve outlying Districts. The Big Boy, the capitol city, is like a helicopter parent and keeps the Districts under their thumb by sending one boy and girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Fun Games, a fight to the death on live TV. Sixteen year old Kantmiss Neverclean regards it as a 'sick party bro' when she brutally takes her sister's place in the Games. She's kind of a bully. But Kantmiss has been to a party before, but her friends kicked her out so she shot them all with a machine gun. Hence the name Kantmiss. So partying is definitely a real treat for her. Meaning to, she becomes a contender. If she is to win, she has to make choices that aren't that important.
