They aren't what they seem. At least that's what she told me. Black wolves were insane. That was true, but they weren't always. The curse that caused them to go insane can be cured though. What I needed to know now is how.
Lex has only a short time to gain their trust and bring the Back Wolves out of their curse, or something so much worse will happen to them and to her. She only has three full moons to save them before Mica finds her and the Black Wolves are slaughtered.

Magic should never have found its way into human lands and nature always must have a balance. When man first used magic to turn to wolf, nature's scales were tipped as the wolves ravaged any human territory they desired. In nature's attempt to find balance once again, man rose from the dead.
