Happy endings were never meant for some people.
It's a fact, only some lucky people get their happy ending, that magical, destined, beautiful happy ending that the rest of us get jealous of.
Totally and unbelievably jealous of, because we know that nothing like that would ever happen to us. That glass slipper sliding onto our feet, that kiss that saves our lives, and that couple of hours with the person we truly love. No. There is no frogs that turn into princes, no beast that changes into man, and certainly no happily ever after.
It's just that they weren't meant to be for some people.
Including me.
Because my Prince Charming is a girl; a blonde haired, blue eyes, pillowy lips, beautiful voice, kind heart, hopeful dreams and is captain of the cheer team. But the only problem is that she doesn't bat for the same team I do.
I'm homosexual or more formally known as gay.
And no matter what, I'm going to get that happy ending, even the truth comes out, my best friend never talks to me again and my parent kick me out onto the cold curb.
I'm going to get my happy ever after, Just you wait.

A pang in your heart, the dull ache of love, a tedious, meaningless thing to some. The entire thing to others. Confusing, at the least. All consuming, at the most. We bundle it inside, Hide it in boxes, In the deepest crevices of our persona, Then suddenly, it burst free, tumbling into the atmosphere, filling every hour, every moment. Words convey it. Words share it. Through words, our emotions are liberated. Disclaimer: I wrote this throughout the course of a year. It had its ups and it's down in emotion. It ends on a happy note, I think. It has some overdramatic things in which my past self annoys me sometimes. But it also has some good pieces of thought. The world sucks. I can't promise that it's not going to suck, Because it probably always will. But there will be times Where the good in the world Makes it suck a little less.مكتمِلة

Once upon a time... That's how all the fairytales begin, right? There's a girl who's mistreated and misunderstood. She meets a guy--probably the most popular guy in school (and hey, why not make him British while we're at it?). He's most likely very handsome and just as rich, and magically seems to understand her. It feels like they've known each other forever when in fact they've actually just met. It's love at first sight, the guy saves the girl from whatever misery she's in, they meet only two or three problems along the way, and then it's happily ever after. But this isn't a fairytale. Have you ever had one of those terrible yet annoyingly pivotal moments? You know, that monumental fragment of time that flips everything you have ever known. That plot twist second that completely takes you by surprise. The one just before the storm hits and everything goes to hell. Yes? Because you see, that moment happens to be my whole damn life. It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends. God I wish I could get that simplicity back, I'd never complain it was boring again. But I know I'm not going to ever get back my old life because well... I died. (Kinda) But I woke up. And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality. I was given the chance to live but it turns out I woke up as the villainess in an otome game my friend used to be obsessed with - Kingdom of freaking Hearts (I added the freaking in there for effect, it's just Kingdom of Hearts) Where, for the record, the villainess only has two possible endings 1) execution and 2) getting exiled. So Fate was like, "Don't worry, I'll save you. Here's a chance to live" and then was like "psyche, screw you. You're still going to die but I'll let you suffer a little first." So now, if only to annoy Fate by proving it wrong, I am determined to survive. I can and I will if I play by these simple rules: 1) Befriend Heroin 2) Avoid Aryn Edwards at All Costs as well as other capture targets And 3) Be the top student at the academy and become an invaluable asset to my Kingdom so I become indispensable, thus unkillable. I'm determined, stubborn, persistent and I will live passed 16. Fate made a big mistake setting me up to die. Since it threw this plot twist at me, I figure I'll return the favor. I'll be the biggest plot twist Fate never saw coming...
