Hale Frost has always dreamed of something exciting in life, be it super heroes, magic, or even aliens. But when he meets a young mancer named Allan who tells him there is a whole another world out there filled with magic, Hale's world is thrown upside down. Now Hale must train in one of the eleven affinities(schools of magic) if he is to survive in the new world. Things are fun at first, until a report comes in that a rouge mancer is searching for a spell....an ancient spell...capable of ripping the entire mancers world apart. Now, not only must Hale train to survive in the new world, he must also train in order to stop this mancer from destroying everything he has ever hoped for. He'll have plenty of friends young and old to help him...but will it be enough?
