----
765 years into the future. The United States of America is gone. All the other countries are gone. Everything is gone. And everything has changed.

2765 marks Begonia's 700th birthday, which of course means a big celebration. A huge ball in the capitol, Iris, fire shows, money, dancing and lots and lots of food. When seventeen year old Addilyn Ethridge hears about this, of course she will go. Pick pocketing the rich will be easy, and so will stealing free food for her family. What fun could that be?

What she doesn't know is that it marks the year of Prince Xavier becoming of age, which means he is in line for throne and in search for a wife. A Queen.

When the King explains the plans for the night, Addilyn tries to leave, not wanting to watch the rest, until she hears her name get called. And another girl's. The Prince then chooses who he wants to spend the rest of his life with. Who he wants to be Queen. He chooses Addilyn.

Addilyn can't back down, she wants to change this country for the better, so she agrees to marry him. She leaves the only life she's ever known and leaves the person that matters most to her, her boyfriend Charlie.

After a month of being in the palace, something strange happens, causing Addilyn and a poor boy to clash into each other. And of course that's where love ends and problems begin.
