I'm currently working on a Thriller book called Broken.
Broken
Love and hate is a thin line! You can love somebody so much one second and then the next you can hate them with every inch of life itself. As soon as I open my eyes in the morning I am reminded of the person I believed to be my soul mate, of all the memories we shared together and thought I would cherish for I lifetime, and that I was never loved. , I can see their shadows walking into the front room. He is standing behind her, his head tilted to the side, like he's whispering into her ear, hands wrapped around her waist, I turn away from the window, teardrops painting mascara down my cheeks. I hate him, with such a passion, for making me believe he ever loved me.
The last thing I remember is sitting outside Duggees house, and the next I'm at home covered in blood, chugging bottles down my throat. I get up and walk straight to the bathroom. I stand there staring at my reflection, taking in my ruined face, and my battered body. There is dried blood covering the top of my head, leaving drip marks all down my cheeks. My lips are swollen, and there are finger marks on my neck, bit marks, bruises and cuts and dotted along my arm, my hips and my legs.
Two days later they find a woman's body, torn apart, intestines wrapped around her throat and her heart missing. The body belonged to Charlotte Robbinswell. Her partner Duggee Grimshaw has gone missing.
When Jane Madarang's neighbor Natalie kills herself and leaves behind cryptic instructions, it's up to Jane and her classmates to unearth deadly secrets.
