Rani's story (name changed) this is real history
Rani is a woman with a lot of self confidence and the will to do things. Till recently, she di not have the opportunity to bring out these qualities.

Six months ago, she joined a self help group [SHG] in her village. When her husband fell ill with tuberculosis, she was very worried. But her group motivated and trained her to work with him in a small family business. They set up a cycle repair shop. The SHG arranged for her to get a loan of
Rs. 12,000, to set up her shop. Now Rani's husband helps her to run the shop. She says, "It feels good to earn money."
