What if Paul left before The Beatles were even The Beatles? It's a modern AU where Paul's mother dies giving birth to Mike and Jim blames Mike for her death. Paul takes beatings from him (I don't actually think of Jim McCartney in this way at all) in order to keep him off Mike. Ringo Starr is very excited about this and about the concert they were about to give. He also started to accept his feelings for his best bud George.
