We have all heard the stories of the creatures that are slaves to the sun and moon.
We are told that there are no monsters under our bed, that its all in our head.
I'm here to tell you, you are not crazy their is real evil out there, darkness, not even the devil will take credit for. Creatures without soul's, that feed off the fear of others.
But not all monster are the same, some hide not so they can scare you, if they wanted that they'd walk into the light. They hide because they know all they will ever be is a monster.
What if I told you that every unexplained noise can be explained, that there is a lot more going on then you could ever imagine. By things you have been told don't exist, do, they are all around you.
"But remember just because you are human doesn't mean you are not one of the monsters."
'"I cannot feel this way. You clearly don't feel-"
"I do though." He interrupts me. I finally look up to meet his eyes. It holds so much sadness. "Believe it or not but it hurts me every time I see tears in your eyes." His hands reach for my face, one more time and gently wipes the tears off my face. No matter what, the tears keep flowing down. "Please don't cry." He whispers.
"You have someone out there just for you. Waiting for you." I whisper softly. A sad smile forms on my face that is now saltier than the ocean bed itself. I try to tug his hand off my face, but his hold is firm. He leans his head down and places it against mine. "I know." His whisper equally soft.
"You need to let go. Just as I am." I close my eyes and take in the breeze of ocean that surrounds him and now me. I hear a deep growl just as his hold tighten on my face but it's still gentle.'
