Gorwick is a land of magic and myth, where gods and demons battle alongside elves and men against horrific foes abominable in both mind and spirit. Mages of every kind, warriors of various lands, and heroes from far away places meet, and have many strange tales to share.
One individual in particular, a woman who fell in love with a young bard and whom died without her able to do a thing, lives alone in the woods, a forest often frequented by young individuals seeking adventure. She acts as a healer for them, a kind herbalist with a rumors declaring her a witch. But when Deliah meets the son of a real witch, she finds herself questioning her isolation, and the well-being of her former friends.
