Being the Kings daughter, you would of thought she'd be a lovely, kind hearted princess who everyone adored and wished to be close to. Yeah, that's what you would of thought. However, Apollo Johnstone, the Kings supposingly fine daughter, did not enjoy royalty one bit, she didn't enjoy being posh, eating off of pure gold and being worshipped for the tiniest of things. That just wasn't her style. When her 17th birthday came, she knew she had to leave before her father forced her to marry some prince from a far land, and as the clock stroke 12am, early hours Monday morning, she left, she ran for the cold, dark waters of the ocean where she could join a curdling ship of pirates. Just like she dreamt off doing even as a child. But when the wind picks up, so does the hunt to find her and the war between the two committees. Captured by her friends, forced to return by her family and forced to leave the one she loved most by her father. Will she protest and kill the one person that's keeping her from happiness, or give in to her destine fate and marry a snobby little prince ? It's fair to say the chances are unfair, don't you think ?

The girl smiled at her, not knowing who she was. "You look like a princess. You have nice hair and blue eyes that look like a dragon gave them to you." Princess Zahra gave a shaky laugh, wondering if the girl knew she had the same, glowing eyes as herself. "Well, I think you look like a princess too." She shook her head. "I don't want to be a princess. I want to be a warrior." --- Like any world, Rova is plagued with issues such as social disbalances, gender inequality and pirates. It is also included in a 20 year war. Zahra, the princess of Rova, is unaware of these problems because of her sheltered lifestyle within the palace walls. Her only worries are the temper of her little sister, Jaylyn, and the fear of disappointing her parents, the King and Queen. However, her views are tampered with as she is kidnapped and pulled into the lifestyle of pirates where she is exposed to the class discriminations, the poverty, magic and the raw power that people, especially women, can have when driven and determined. These new experiences also slap her into the reality that decisions have an impact and that she needs to learn to make them wisely. *** Also, please feel free to give constructive feedback and point out spelling or grammar mistakes.
