It was a summer night when Mia Harris was kidnapped. Three months later a family found her unconscious in the forest near Bear Bake Lake, California. After being taken to the hospital, Mia regains consciousness but she can't remember anything that has happened to her in the past few months.
Four year later a series of murders start to happen in the quiet town of Fresno. Mia has changed her address and her name. She still can’t remember anything but however the murderer is willing to make her life miserable and make her remember everything.
Harry Styles is investigating the case and he tries to relate the murders with Mia’s kidnapping. He decides to find her and tries to convince her to help him with the investigation but she decides not to help him. When the criminal tries to break in her house she’ll go running to Harry Styles’ arms crying for help. He wants her to be safe so she can help with the investigation and he decides that she’s going to have to live with him. However the murderer finds a way to leave her messages through the victims and her friends. Harry starts to develop feelings for her; he knows is not right and tries to fight them but he realize that it’s impossible. The murderer’s fury will be unleashed when he finds out what is going on between Harry and Mia. Harry knows that this is not a normal case; he has to protect the woman he loves.
