For 18 year old Kennedy Blake, life has always been easy... Well mostly.
When she was born, her dad, a professional bronc buster, left. She grew up living every kids' dream when her mom remarried a rich old man who later died and left the two of them his money and his estate in Beverly Hills, California.
Now it is her last summer home before she heads off to college in the fall. Her mom decides it would be good if Kennedy spent some time with her dad on his ranch in Arizona.
Kennedy hates the idea and makes sure everyone on her dad's ranch knows it. But then she meets Luke and Gunsmoke. Through horses and boys she decides life might not be too bad. But will Luke be too much of a Casanova?
