I mean, even if you get trapped in your crazy leader's world and you're being chased by a giant rock turtle who likes to play Tag Hide-and-Go-Seek, you aren't going to die or anything. It's just hiding and being tagged...right?

Rational, and irrational. An example would be spiders, they are an irrational fear. To some they're nothing but a pest, but to others they're their worst nightmare. Another example would be if you had a bad past, I guess it depends on how you look at it. But what if you had a secret, that could destroy the human race as we know it? Make the world seem that much more dangerous. More exciting. Add a new factor to everyday life. What would happen if everyone suddenly knew about your dark secret, or more importantly, what would they think of you? Would they push away, or join you on the crazy roller-coaster of life.
