A she-elf lives secluded in the outskirts of a village in the hilly forest. She is a gentle soul, but when she is under threat her claws are anything but dull.
Alchemy is her friend, for her elven friends have forgotten her... or really try hard to. An incident with a knight army has left her scarred on her hands, and in her heart.
One twilight dusk, she finds a ferociously wounded elven knight unconscious on the ground in the rain. Going against the warnings in her head and most of her heart, a small piece of what is left of trust in her decides to save and heal him, having him stay in her guestroom.
Slowly but surely, her heart begins to melt each day as she finds unbidden love...
