But their aspirations were the cause of their self destruction. My father, Jor-El, foresaw this calamity and crafted a spacecraft for me before sending me to Earth. On Earth, I was adopted by a family that owned a farm; Jonathan and Martha Kent. They raised me and taught me, helping create the man you see today. It wasn't my powers or my accomplishments that made me into the man I am today, I won't lie that they did help, but it is mostly because of how I was raised. Growing up, I always wanted to help people in anyway, that's why I loved farming so much. And that's why I love getting up every morning to help out in anyway that I can.
