Every child has the sight. Not one is exactly the same. It is something you are born with and it is unique to you. When my little sister was born, she was born with the ability to see a person's innermost desires. When I was born, I was born with the ability to see death... and it's this "gift" of sight, this ability to see the black butterflies, that haunts me.

Different- 1) Not the same as another, or each other; Unlike in nature, form or quality. I thought being different was a good thing. You know, the whole 'Im not conforming to you' deal. I thought I was unique, my own person. Apparently not everyone thinks being different is a good thing. They're afraid of my difference. Maybe it's my long white hair? Or my glowing silver eyes? Or it could just be because.... I'm not fully human. I tried to keep it a secret. Really I did. I knew the consequence of something like this getting out. So my secret stayed a secret. All until the day the little girl walked out in front of the truck.
