DO YOU KNOW THE BEAST?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
¥• So that was how her first kiss played out. The drive back home had been silent.
She'd been in her head. He'd been in his.
That night she had taken a good long look at herself in the mirror to remind herself who she was - what she was.
"Jeremy Cox will never feel anything like that for you! Get your head out off your butt and deal with it."
She'd repeated the mantra over and over till tears stung her eyes and rolled down her cheeks.
She did not like what was happening at all. He was her friend. Her only friend. How could she ruin what they had with a stupid one sided crush? If she let herself fall for him... it would be disastrous. For many reasons.
But that kiss... that kiss confused her to no end. Where did it come from? Why was he looking at her like that? Why did he kiss her so hard? For those precious seconds she had felt normal. A girl kissing her crush. A normal girl who had legitimate chances of going out with the boy.
She pushed thoughts of him out her mind. It could not work.
He was The Jeremy Freaking Cox.
She was Ugly Sasha Stewart. •¥
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sasha Stewart is ugly. And that's a plain fact. Her parents know it; her siblings know it; EVERYBODY knows it! She has no friends, no social life and no foreseeable chances of ever getting a guy.
She is the Beast.
Jeremy Cox is beautiful. Athletic, tall, talented, popular - you name it. He's everything any girl would wish for. A look from him can send girls and boys alike sizzling with need.
He is Beauty.
What happens in this warped tale of the legendary fantasy when Beauty meets the Beast?
Helluva lot.

Every Girl wants a bad boy to be good only for her and that's exactly what Hadley got.
***
Hadley didn't think much of it when she couldn't make any friends in High School. She just brushed it off and lived her life without caring about it. Sure it would be nice to have a few friends but she guessed that she was just antisocial. Maybe there was more to it, maybe there was a cause to the underlying pain.
Levi has had his eyes set on Hadley since middle school, never talking to her, never even let her catch him staring at her. When high school came around he wanted Hadley, and he did anything to keep her from harms way without her even noticing. She's naive, she didn't see it coming when he claimed her as his.

"I don't like whats mine being touched! You should have know better.." He growled, I gasped at what he was saying." I worked too hard for some nobody to come take what I own away from me. I. Will. Not. Allow. It." Anger dripping from Levi's voice, nervousness raked through my body. His presence scares me and especially when a glint of mischief sparkled in his eyes.
I went to grab Jake's arm to pull him away, I was snatched away from his reach to be put behind his back. He cracked his knuckles," I'm guessing you didn't realize your place just yet." And right before my eyes his fist connected with Jake's face.
He turned toward me, my breath hitched in my throat."Your mine, your only mine. Do you understand Hadley?"
Before I could stop myself." No, I'm not? I don't even know you."
"But I know you." He leaned in and kissed my forehead.
