Her first week in town and so far she's gotten lost, robbed, and arrested...all this and it's only Tuesday...she's not even sure she'll make it to the weekend let alone make it on her own in a town 3,500 miles out of her comfort zone. I honestly didn't realize how broken I was. I just figured that if I shut all my feelings out that they would go away. They didn't. They came back strong as ever. And I did the worst thing that I could do. I let my feelings get the best of me. My daddy told me to never let anyone walk over me. And yet that is exactly what everybody does.
