It's not like what the books or movies tell you. People aren't that ignorant. When the end comes, they know it full well. Even if they aren't consciously aware of it.
And it is in the nature of people to do whatever it takes to survive. Even if it means taking up a mantle of cruelty.
This is a story of three men. The Leader. The Shield. And the Guide.
In the chaos that has descended, with the world torn asunder, the road to survival is paved with the very purest of evils that humans are capable of inflicting.
Nobody is exempt. Not even these three.
This is the story of their struggle against the destruction of their world. The struggle against mankind itself. And the struggle within themselves.

Why yes, another book about people surviving in a zombie apocalypse, only this will start off in the middle of it with a group that probably will all end up dying awesome deaths. Also is a never ending book of many different people and stuff so excitement every so often... If anyone reads stories on this lol.Concluida
The Apocalypse
The ice deep in the north has melted to reveal a new world hidden under the ice. It holds vegetation and animals that seem unworldly when compared to ours, but hidden in the deepest part of this world is another cave with the oldest surviving strains of an ancient bacteria capable of taking host of dead creatures and reanimating them into beasts worse than before. This strain had grown weak over the ages and was nearly extinct, but the human immune system, never being exposed to this, caused the strain to thrive inside its new unexpecting host and spreads out to the world. It starts small, just a speck on the hands of a few people, but soon, it spreads to door handles, pens, books, chairs, things like that. It continues spreading and now has infected its first corpse, the remains of an ant. This new creature comes and spreads to that ant's nest and then to the animals that eat them. Before less than a month passed, the virus had spread to a graveyard in the hidden grottos of the Yukon. This virus, now able to think from the new minds of fresh bodies, can strategize. In only another week, the epidemic had spread to the northern edge of the United States. Spreading further and further in, people began to notice this strange happening. From people disappearing to entire towns popping out of existence, the bacteria continued to spread. To keep order, the governments had those who disappeared erased from existence, but it wasn't enough. The takeover of those long gone happened in less than three weeks and society collapsed. Spreading overseas, it began its removal of life in Europe, but that's a story for another day. We now come to those few remaining settlements in the collapsed U.S, now called The Crumbled Land. What does this new land hold hidden deep in the remnants of its former glory?Concluida

"Come on nearly you can do this, we can do this, together." Doing the unforgivable is hard to do sometimes, but other times it's for a good reason. The cost never matters when you know that your doing it for someone or something that you love and would died for. Fighting for what was right was always hard for those who were born and raised in the shadows, but they learn. They have to find that one something or someone that they are willingly going to die for, fight for. If you have someone you love to the edge of the world and would do this for them, make sure you give them your all. I've learned that from my one and only and this is something you can't read in any book you either have to find this out for yourself or through experience.Concluida

My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. He's the person you didn't feel like seeing. You weren't ready. You don't know what to do. They left, they let you become broken, they let you lose all hope in people, and now he's back. If God is not going to punish the sinner then I WILL. People sometimes say to you, "Don't bother with them, their karma will come back to them someday". That is why sometimes people break themself in order to wait for that moment. But sometimes that moment never comes and you yourself are the one rotting away in this miserable life, so why wait when you could put your hands in it? "You are wrong. Whether I am here or not, your punishment will always come to you, I just.. make it much sooner for you. As I didn't have time to wait any longer", he said with a dark gloomy eyes that had lost their lights. When Shen Wei ran away at the age of 15 years old, he never thought that he would come back again, trying to untie the knot that had been lingering in his heart for years, he came back once again trying to understand some events, but to be honest, for him, it is just an excuse, he just wants to see the lights once again, to be able to proudly says "Mom, I have made it, the sinner have already been punished and you have nothing to worry about anymore". Even if it means to drag others down to hell with him. Shen Wei, "Because since the beginning, we have not been given a choice, we have been entangled in this trap, if we don't struggle to get away, you and I will surely lose. And I.. am not the type of person who will easily let other people bully me" Notes: First time making my own character, I think it will be hard for me to clearly describe how the character would be, but I will try my best. I must say first that the timeline is around the early 20th century.. probably, it is fictional, so there must be things that are different compared to the history.
