The Gabrick Impact

15 year old Natasha Gabrick lives as an Amuletum- someone who is "gifted" with the capability to protect themselves and others around them from harm and even potential danger. These people are valued in her Society, but treated poorly, as a possession and not a person. Natasha makes a mistake while being shipped to her next family of owners, and flees, but finds them anyways- a royal family who wishes to own Natasha to escape predicted assassination. As Natasha soon becomes fond of the family, she is torn between staying with them or escaping her enslaved life to the free Harriet's Island.
