The mutants didn't always exist.

Decades ago, they were once like us, "normals" with no abnormalities and abilities, living together harmoniously in the modern age of the 21st century with no borders and no barricades from the outside world.

But everything changed after the horrific events of the Eradication and the Wipeout.

Arcadia and Castiel Thargaryeon were fortunate, born into the hard-fought era of peace after so many years of bloodshed. Their family was of the unaffected bloodline, with wealth and social status, they were one of the handful who lived in the heart of city, more commonly know as the Dome, far from the barricades. Many were not like them, living in the slums next to the barricade in foul environment with the mutants, "affected" people with unique powers. Waking up in the body of a Romani Archiman is acceptable. Getting 3rd and 1st True Magics is nice. Getting Beasts as pets - delightful. The world of DxD is unforgivable. It's a world where some teenagers who aren't even two decades old somehow mystically defeat the descendants of legendary heroes, ancient demons, powerful dragons, etc. Why does this happen? Izuku Midoriya formerly izuku yagi had a good life up until he was diagnosed quirkless. He was neglected and beaten by his own (all might and magnetic) family and (1A) friends. Over the years izuku learn how to defend himself in private, read comics from before quirks were around and learning about heroes quirks. One day, while izuku is running away from his tormentors, he runs into the forest to lose them. After he does he realizes he's lost and then he sees a meteor coming towards him. After it crashes izuku feels like it's calling to him, he goes near it and almost in an instant he feels a sudden surge of power and strength he never felt before. Now with these new abilities he will become the next number one hero and symbol of hope.
