DESCRIPTION IS A WORK IN PROGRESS

Grace has never considered herself lucky. For as long as she could remember her parents were alcoholics who never loved her. She ignored it until one day she couldn't take it anymore. Nearly ending her life, she is saved by a random stranger on his way to work.

Cameron, by normal standards, is your basic Average Joe. He goes to his job, does his school work, and then goes home. There is one thing that sets Cameron apart; He lives to serve God. It is not only shown in his everyday life but through his all. Little does he know everything is about to change. One day, on his way to work, he notices a shadowy figure on the side of the bridge. A girl.
Saving Grace may have been the best decision he ever made. As their relationship grows can Cameron bring Grace out of her depression and closer to God, or will he let things spiral out of control?

NOTE: This story is written by two people. Every chapter is a different point of view, each being written by a different author, and switches between Grace and Cameron's perspective.

DISCLAIMER: This story is rated mature because of the themes of suicide and depression.

'𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐧𝐚' - 𝘢 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦, 𝘢 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵. | | ᥉tartᧉ꯭d ; 11/05/25 [ dd/mm/yy ] | ╰────────────────── •ᯓᡣ𐭩 Isaac Caden moved through life with a quiet emptiness he couldn't quite name, a subtle 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗻𝗮 carved into the center of his being. He remembered faces without voices, moments without meaning - like snapshots from a film with the sound turned off. Isaac never let anyone nor himself see what he truly felt; his emotions were locked away behind an unshakable calm, as if revealing them would only make the emptiness inside him more real. People said he was an asshole, distant, always somewhere else, but the truth was simpler: something was missing, a piece of himself that had slipped away long ago. And though he didn't know what it was, he felt its absence in every silence, every unanswered question, every dream he couldn't quite remember when he woke up. Isaac never thought he would understand himself internally, he wasn't even sure that there was anything beneath his shell, he felt hollow - like there was nothing special about his existence. Purely floating through life without meaning. After a long time of trying to read himself, he gave up. He didn't care to understand anymore, he thought there was no reason for him being on this earth - he was then brutally slapped in the face with hard proof that he was wrong. ────୨ৎ──── 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: This story contains harsh topics and language, if any of the following disturbs you, do not read. This is Living

26 bab Lengkap

Despite the fact that Cameron has grown up in church, he is absolutely convinced that there is no God. This almost-senior-in-high-school finds his pleasure when hanging out with his newfound "bad boy" friends and believes that he will forever be pestered by the way-too-happy-for-no-reason youth group kids. The only Christian he tolerates (and actually enjoys) being around is his 6 year old brother, Parker. After some deep (and I mean DEEP) trouble arises, Cameron has to learn the hard way that God can turn a really ugly mess into a really beautiful message. Side Note: This story was inspired by the song "This is Living" by Hillsong Young & Free. In the Bible, John 10:10 says, "I came so they can have real and eternal life. More and better than they ever dreamed of." When our trust is in God, we don't have to worry. At all. Ever. No matter how bad it gets, God is always going to be there to pick us up when we fall. Always.
