Alex is a seven-teen year old girl suffering from depression. She feels like she's drowning and can never resurface. Her depression used to be only every once and awhile. Usually nothing too serious, but that all changed when her family found out she's gay.
Jo has been best friends with Alex since 7th grade. It's been hard watching her best friend go through this and not being able to do anything about it. In the end she has to make a choice, one that puts her at risk of losing her friends.
