Each chapter is going to have a short story about a character from the outsiders.

When you broke off the kiss, you stared at each other for a second. You gave him a shocked look and by now the gang were all looking at you guys.

"Hah look at her face. That's the same look every girl gives him, after he pulls down his pants, and it's too small!" Drunk Two bit joked as he tripped over the carpet.

Steve started laughing hard while soda tried to hush Towbit.

"Want anything to drink, you know it all" he yelled from the kitchen.

"Sure I'd love me some soda, and I ain't talking about your brother." I started giggling at my joke but quickly stopped when I saw pony standing at the door way just staring at me.

Johnny? Darry? Then this isn't the story for you! Y/N has fallen in love with the book 'The Outsiders' since she first read chapter one. She's read the book and seen the movie about a million times. She's probably the biggest fan! Then one day as she's sitting at the park watching the sunset she slowly drifts off. When she wakes up she's in a different place. She checks her phone, which was fortunately inside her pocket. She checks the date, huh? Why does it say 1965? Silly phones! I don't think phones were even invented in that time! Were they? Anyway! Why does it say 1965? Then a mustang drives by. A mustang? What? Then I realize I'm wearing jeans and a leather jacket. The car drives near me. People wearing weird clothes only Socs would wear, get out the car. "Hey grease! What are you doing here!" One yells. Grease? Who says grease in 2017? Wait. Grease? (The Outsiders Fanfic :D) Johnny and Ponyboy were never the type to go outside the city, but after they killed a Soc, they felt like they needed to. When they were apart, they started communicating through old walkie-talkies they found on the country grounds. After quite a while, the case became more serious, police searching everywhere, getting closer to their hiding area. Ponyboy and Johnny had no other choice, they had to travel upstate, risking their bond and possibly separating. we both love the outsiders and johnnyboy so why not write oneshots about them?! the au we're going to mostly be using is that they're living in our time (still the same setting). here's some details about it: • ages: darry - 23, soda - 19, pony - 17, johnny - 16, dally - 20, steve - 20, two-bit - 21 and a half. (we upped everyone's ages by 3 except johnny, because we originally upped pony's by 3. so we made it fair) • dally lives alone with his two puppers :') their names are booper (a sheltie + corgi mix) and waffle (a dachshund)! (he's a college drop out, but has a paying job) • darry is a college graduate and has a job that he loves. soda, steve, and two bit are still in college and are living with their families. • pony and johnny are, of course, in high school. • everyone's families are the same. (except maybe the fact that their parents are willing to pay for school. idk if they don't in the book) • everyone's personalities are the same. (we're sorry if we don't do their personalities exactly correct) • we may do aus in aus! which basically means we might do something like, cafe aus but we'll still use the facts from the modern au we have here! - p.j (the outsiders belong to s.e. hinton!! we just made a few tweaks) ~~~~~~ (update 3/11/18) the book is now finished. with schoolwork being stressful, personal problems, and me and p.j. becoming more distant (heck they don't even use wattpad anymore), neither of us have much time or motivation to continue. we're sorry, and we hope you enjoyed the book while it lasted. - todd
