Proper Positioning and technique are significant factor in obtaining diagnostic-quality radiographs.Quality radiographs can reveal such abnormalities as soft tissue swellings, masses, and trauma (e.g., new or old fractures). The lung fields, various organs (if visible), and gastrointestinal tract can be evaluated as well as the quality of the bones. From the positioning and technical point of view  radiographic position and technique are vital for diagnostic process to provide best result.
