As Time Goes By

Anggar Hermana's childhood life was not something pleasant to remember. Having a drunken and abusive father, it was a wonder how he could survive until that time. His life was dull, dark and completely far from happiness, until one day a new girl came to his school. A girl with a sincere smile, a heart like an angel's, and a face such a beauty. She was one and only friend he got when no one else wanted to befriend him. For once in his life, Anggar finally knew what happiness was. But they say good things always come to an end, right? Well, the happiness that Anggar thought would always be in his hands was suddenly taken away from him when she told him she was going to move out of the country because of her father's job. Once again, Anggar felt lonely. And what made it worse was that he didn't have a chance to say good bye to her. For seven years, the two best friends went apart.
Seven years of misery, seven years of loneliness, one thing that Anggar wanted was to meet her again, even just for once in his life. That's why Anggar was beyond ecstatic when his wish finally came true. But things were not the same as they used to be, especially when he found out that the only girl he has ever loved, loved someone else.
