Freedom and her village have been running from the hidden society, a society that has been destroying villages all across the land. The Hands of Hope society has been trying to save the villages and take them to the safe land. But Freedom has a different view of Hands of Hope. Especially when she is kidnapped by them at age 5 for "seeing to much." Freedom has a very active imagination, but she might not be imagining it all and in the end it might just help her discover the truth about Hands of Hope.

She got put in the foster home(same one as Nadine and Lori) because her father and 'stepmother' were on drugs and her father did things to her that she did not like and made her do things she did not like her 'stepmother' did nothing to stop it. One they neighbors heard yelling coming from the house next to them and called the cope. They came and seen how Kharissa was living and they took her to the faster home. Nadine is Australia. Her mother and 'stepdad' is alcoholic. Her living at home was not the best thing for her things just got worse by the day it got to the point that she would run away from home. One day they got into a big fight that made the neighbors called the copes when they came they fought the cops stuff like that and they took Nadine to the faster home were she will be safe. Lori is British her parents banded her when she was a baby so she pretty much spent her hole life in the faster home. She has been to house to the house and she have been through the worst. It got to the point that they all gave up looking for the right home until one day.
