"I've grown out of the habit of having to remind myself of my current state. It's torture to surround myself with constant reminders that I'm not alive but there's something so beautifully nostalgic in the pain that I allow my still heart to be broken into pieces every day. It's something to focus on, after all."

Martha is a ghost, a drifter- but she doesn't mind, even if there are questions about what the hell she's doing. She likes the bleakness, even if she's stuck in the clothes she died in with no particular purpose.
Even if she feels as unneeded as smoke.
Martha's come to a standstill- until one day she encounters something that changes everything, and Martha becomes a step closer to having all her questions answered.
