A boy that goes by the name of "B-Rose" shows any and all who cross paths with him, his perspective of America through the eyes of a black teen. Although he shows how the country he lives in is still contradicting, he internally fights his biggest enemy other than the ones with more privilege; an enemy with a name that was given by his mother. Teaching others to wake from the "American Dream" causes him to struggle to manage to make time to handle his own nightmare. Losing a brother is one thing, but losing yourself right afterword is something different. "Gangs are for those who are missing a type of closeness or love that only a family can give. If you join one, then you're no man. You're still a child."All Rights Reserved
