Katia thought he was different. Maybe that he had changed just for her, but he was exactly the same as before. He hadn't changed at all; hadn't put aside his childish ways to live up to her expectations.

Katia wasn't usually one to exact revenge or hold grudges against anyone, but he had molded her more than she'd like to admit. Once she was through with what she had planned, his life would be hell, just like hers had been and there would be no way back.

But Katia wasn't in the right mind to be making life-changing decisions and maybe someone knew that all too well.

Maybe this "someone" also knew that all Katia needed was a simple gesture. One that would dissipate the cloudiness in her mind and the evils in her heart.
