Having an affair usually ends in one of two ways, 1: the significant other finds out and everything is ruined, or 2: the significant other never finds out and things turn out okay.
For Kellin, it's both. Cheating on his wife with his bestfriend ends up causing a major problem, that turns out amazingly. Katelynne never finds out, because Kellin ends things before she can, which is both good and bad. But his secret comes out in the open eventually..
This is Kellin's story of learning that sometimes the people we plan to spend our lives with, won't actually be with us forever, and that sometimes better people come along.
