"What do you mean?" I ask, appalled.
"I mean exactly what I said, Brooke. You have a long lost brother."

Summer '09 [Niall Horan fanfiction]
I only had one thing on my mind that summer. It was 2009 and I was a sophomore in high school. I would be at camp for two weeks - two glorious, family-free weeks - but it only took me a day to figure out that even though I loved every aspect, there was only one thing that was making my feet lift off the ground. This year was going to be different, and I was going to make it so. It was a ranch camp that I attended, which meant smelly barns and well-water and tasks involving shoveling horse poop, but I had been going since the summer before seventh grade and couldn't imagine doing anything different. In the summer of '09, though, everything took a giant twist in the form of a blonde-haired, sixteen-year-old boy who had come from Ireland to attend my camp. His name was Niall Horan.Complete
It Started With You + Me
"I had no idea what had just happened. First I was lying down and enjoying myself and now there was a beautiful and I really mean beautiful boy was sitting on this speedboat, arm reaching out towards me, murmuring strangely heavenly words. Somewhere between the two I must have fallen asleep... Warily I took his soft hand and let him pull me up." ********** 14 year old Nina has the perfectly hectic life. School takes up most of it, meaning her priorities and daily routines come first- unfortunately for her non-existent love life. In the middle of Africa this 'outsider' is still getting settled into Malawi. A week of holiday at the lake means an amazingly refreshing 7 days of doing nothing. Bathing, tanning and watching endless hours of movie magic! But that was all before, in a random turn of unplanned events, she meets 'him'. The conincidence is awkward but their attration is imminent. Shea is your typical teenage Irishman. Back in Northern Ireland hes just about your average Joe. Here in the middle of Africa its an exiting adventure just waiting to be unraveled. Its a new style of living. And as the cherry on top he meets the girl who's smile takes his breath away. The intended summer fling grows into something bigger and bigger. Something no-one saw comming. Can this stay as a once in a lifetime summer love, or will it blossom into something more lasting? WARNING: this book does contain 'strong' language. So if you don't swear it might not be the right book for you. Sorry COMPLETED : 23 OCTOBER 2016Complete

The Art of Being Alone (Together)
Delena is determined to have a good time at summer camp and forget about her backstabbing ex-best-friend Mei. But when Mei shows up at camp too, suddenly revenge looks a lot more appealing than forgetting. * * * * * As far as 17-year-old Delena Torres is concerned, friendship is nothing more than a quick way to get hurt. This has been her mindset for the past two months anyway, ever since her best friend Mei ditched her and started hanging out with her arch enemy. She's more than ready to spend summer vacation alone-- then her parents surprise her by signing her up for a photography course at Camp Create It, the summer camp she and Mei always dreamed of attending. Still, even if she has to be surrounded by other campers, Del's determined not to get attached to anyone. She'll spend the summer by herself, honing her photography skills and forgetting about Mei. Easy, right? Maybe, if it wasn't for the fact that her quirky cabin-mate seems deadset on becoming friends. Or if she could stop running into the cute guy from the kitchen staff. Oh, and if she wasn't in the middle of a prank war after one stupid attempt at revenge, since Mei just happened to show up at camp, too. Yeah, this "lone wolf" thing might be harder than she thought. Not So Hot Girls Summer
Not So Hot Girls Summer follows three best friends on the last of their summer holidays before starting in their careers. Amelie, Maddie and Frankie have been friends since they were children and now they have graduated from university, they are ready for their final weeks of freedom, this year with celebrations taking place in Bali. But all is not as glamorous as social media portrays. Each of the girls are complicated and with each of them keeping their issues under wraps, they begin to build their own warped perceptions on one another (don't worry, the omniscient narrator reveals all). Amelie is a relatable character for many millennials. She suffers from social anxiety, fearing awkward situations and questioning everyone's intentions. From her perspective, she already believes that she will be left behind after summer, with Maddie and Frankie phasing her out. But she's wrong. The narrative she has built in her own mind is nothing far from the truth. Maddie does care. In fact, Maddie cares more than anyone. She is the only one to have organised anything to ensure they have the most memorable last few weeks before entering the working world, even when she is secretively dealing with her own issues. It is Frankie that can't be trusted. She is the lost soul of the group who has adopted a mentality of no longer caring. Whilst some may view her carefree perspective as admirable, it is this outlook that is leading her to dangerous waters. But with each of the girls personally dealing with their struggles, it doesn't take long before the holiday turns into emotional chaos, especially when boys become involved. AmelieComplete
