15 years ago, the Ghostbusters closed their doors due to a dearth of paranormal activity. Now, in 2016, a new threat throws New York City into chaos once again. With the original Ghostbusters team separated - not to mention older and more out of shape - Ray Stantz needs help in a hurry... With their name tarnished by an increasingly exploitative media division overseen by one Peter Venkman, the people of New York have largely forgotten about the real-life exploits of the City's three-time saviours. But there are some who still remember. Melissa Coleman is still inspired by her childhood passion for the Ghostbusters and all things paranormal. Risking her dead-end desk job at one of Manhattan's biggest news networks, she breaks ranks to investigate what she believes is the first supernatural occurrence in over 15 years.
