From a young age Dan Howell has always wondered why girls get to be pretty while he didn't. After expressing these thoughts to his parents it became his father's goal to "man him up". But after his parents divorce his mom let him be the person he wanted to be.
Phil Lester grew up in a home filled with rock music and the colour black. But he was perfectly fine with his chains, chokers, and leather. But one day he sees a boy wearing a pastel pink crop top and becomes fascinated with this human who seems to be the perfect glittery opposite of himself.
