The blast of the pistol I hold in my hands leaves a sharp, piercing ring in my ears. The man whose head now homes the bullet that was shot falls limply to the ground, twitching, spazzing, then he stills; lifeless. I prefer making things quick. The faster it's done the quicker I get to leave. But where do I get to leave to? Well, nowhere in particular. Who am I? I don't even know the answer to that. I have no real name. I have nothing but a gun in my hand, and a cavity in my chest. Silence kills, so watch out.

"I didn't kill him." I repeated the same line over and over again. He wasn't dead. I knew it. I know that he's alive. "I didn't kill him." He had to be out there, but it didn't matter now. They wouldn't let me out of here no matter how much I begged. "I'm not crazy and he's not dead!" I yelled out. No one answered. I began rocking back and forth. "I didn't kill him."
