Nepeta was wild at heart but felt stifled by her family's high achievements and overbearing attitudes. She was supposed to be talented, suppposed to be perfect - but she was rowdy and rebellious and just liked fun.
Terezi stayed out late and came home to no messages, no phone calls, no contact, and no family. It sometimes seemed better that way - if anything bad happened, at least her disappearing wouldn't worry anyone.
