Dan Howell is a awkward, shy, and lonely teenage boy from Wokingham, UK.
His life is going nowhere until he meets Phil Lester, an outgoing, tall teenage boy with a passion for the digital arts.
Dan takes an instant disliking to Phil and the annoying and chatty ways he learnt during his years in Rossendale.
However, when an oncoming train approaches Dan, Phil springs to the rescue. Dan begins to notice that Phil is rather likeable at heart.
But, the pressures of Phil's University stay leave him blind to Dan's affections and Dan takes up making YouTube videos as a distraction.
Finally, when an old friend of Dan's threatens to come between them, Dan has to act fast.
But will they ever find the bond they deserve?
