Avery is just your average American teenage girl. She lives with her mom and brother, her dad past away when she was young and she doesn't remember a whole lot about him. Her life was going steady until her mom got a job transfer and had to move to a town called Westmore, Florida; which is a good drive away from her hometown. When they decide to pick up and leave she isn't all that happy. Enter Derek Jacobson, an arrogant boy that doesn't care about things or so it seems, he has developed an image making people think he is a bad ass. But when a new girl moves in across the street will his façade crack causing the real him to show? Or will he be a jerk forever? One thing is for certain, life in Westmore will never be the same.
