A legendary Pokémon found herself a human child. She decided to take care of the orphan.

Other Legendaries started to adopt orphans to have their own child.
They started making them hybrids and giving them powers that no human can have.

This is where it started.
Arceus, the origin of Pokémon grew tired and restless because of the continuous adoption of the Legendaries.

He proclaimed that the Legendary Pokémons should let go of their children and make them forget everything.

.
But some of them didn't listen.
They continued to take care of their children and made them hybrid. Their exact clones. So that they can protect themselves from dangers that Arceus would do just to separate them.

Others started to Rebel. While the others kept their child a secret.

Because of the rebellion.

It's horrible to don a mask. Most wear some kind of mask in their life--and for the most part, they're never of the best quality. All they cause is useless self-destruction and pain, but the good thing about them is that they can hide some ugly part of you that you don't want to show to the world. They're always a step down from what you think they'd be, always a notch lower than expectations, and always a lie to hide from the reality around us. ...of course, there are those that can see through those masks too, and it's supposed that Arceus created these humans to keep the world's sanity. That's all Avis wishes for, because it's nearly impossible to find any semblance of peace in this midst of war and chaos. To him, that's staying alone; staying out of others' business, and for the first seventeen years of his life, he's done that pretty well. § Avis can only hide in the shadow of his twin brother's strength, stranded in a country ravaged by war and destruction--and he tries to live his life in the darkness peacefully. He doesn't need to be noticed by everyone. The illusion of a functional, ideal life, however, is shattered when his family's balance is destroyed, and he thus dons his first mask. § For all his life, Avis had been taught that disaster was bad. For the most part, he's believed that much--he only needs to think of ungraceful piles of debris and blood-caked grounds to be convinced of that. At eighteen, he finds himself starting to doubt it--just a little. He can hate disaster for tearing his life to pieces, but he can't quite hate it for granting him something better than a miracle. § Tonight, these children don their masks.

2015 version will be in the book called "Shadow Series" if you were in the process of reading it before the story changed to the new version STORY 1: watch for important stars on the chapter for hints on the next story! Champion's Sword, Galar's Shield (Leon x OC) by TMWolf
22 parts Complete
Cassandra came to Galar running from a past she couldn't bring herself to face. Leon was running from his failure, and enemies that either wanted him on their side or dead. Be it fate or destiny, their meeting during a blizzard in the mountains was the start of a journey neither of them expected. The ending, however, is on a path wrought with danger. It's going to take everything they have to stop the madmen proclaiming themselves Kings and seem to bear some grudge against the legendary Warrior Pokemon who stopped Eternatus for a second time not long ago... But first, they have to survive the cold. Post-Pokemon Sword AU (heavy), slight slow burn. Updated weekly (Some chapters mature. Cover by me!) -------------- Some notes: 1. I don't follow typical battle format of the game. I try to be realistic and write how I feel fighting would go in the real world (i.e. no turn taking and Pokemon can act without commands if trained enough). 2. I overall try to be realistic about the world, too. Like Pokemon eating Pokemon and people eating fish/bird Pokemon (i.e., Farfetch'd, poor thing). 3. Heavily AU. I basically take the post-game plot and run with it, making it a lot darker and more intense. I always thought it was such a silly plot line so yeah xD 4. Romance is cheese because I like cheese. This is actually my first mainly romance focus to go with adventure. It's kinda slight slow burn, but still happens kinda quick! 5. I don't know all canon history of regions perfectly so I take some liberties here and with other games' stories I involve, so also some heavy to light AU's for those games/areas, too! 6. Leon's character is my interpretation of things with my own spin on it, too, so sorry if he's a bit OOC? 7. Eventual smut towards the end, you're welcome. Feel free to comment, be it questions or mistakes you find! I always love answering :D

Cinderella: A Pokémon Fairytale

29 parts Complete

The world of Pokémon takes a new spin on this classic fairytale. After her father leaves on a trip, Pokémon trainer Duchess Ella is reduced to a servant by her envious stepmother-Cinderella. And yet she refuses to give in to despair. With the help of her Pokémon friends, a headstrong prince, and a legendary Pokémon, Cinderella strives to make her dreams come true, proving that with courage, kindness, and friendship, anything is possible. Note: This work can also be found on FanFiction.net. I do not own Pokémon or any images. This is a Fan Fiction novel I have written for fun. Only Pokémon as far as Generation VI is shown in this novel. This novel is rated for age 7+ as it contains mild descriptions of fantasy violence and comic mischief. Update 11/25/19 -- A special thanks to ImberLapis for making a new cover for my novel. Thank you again, ImberLapis! Update 12/2/19 -- I've updated several chapters for grammar, typos, and clarity, especially in chapter 18. (I apologize for the missing beginning in that one chapter. I didn't realize my mistake until I got the new cover...) Please enjoy. ;)
