Athena Hollander is a normal girl in a normal world, at least that was what she thought she was.
She's been living it rough on the streets for years now, and everyday is the same routine. She tries to make the most out of this 'freedom'.
But one day, Athena gets dragged into a world of chaos and uncertainty, where everything she knew was nothing comparable to what was really there.

A New Beginning
Introverts, I call out to you: This book is about Athena, the nerdiest of introverts. However, like everyone she was hit by the curse of falling in love. Unable to manage her feelings, she can't hold it anymore. What to do? She fell in love with her best friend, James but...her rival is only perfection itself. How to beat a perfect extrovert magnificent person? Not a single flaw compared to us, introverts. Bree is perfect. Who in the world would choose a flawed but unique introvert rather than a goddess, a princess who is just perfection? This is the first book of an amazing sequel. It will bring you back to the reality of how hard life as an introvert is. Hard but breathtaking at the same time. Each and every introvert is unique in their own way, not all of us react or act the same way but we're not as cold-hearted as people think we are. We have feelings too... Athena is exactly like a secondary character in movies or books. The kind of character we despise or that we don't pay much attention to. Bree and James are usually the protagonists. The lead character, the prince and the gay friend, who apparently has no other life than be devoted to the lead! A typical classic combination often found in romantic movies and books. This case is different, it's from a different perspective, from the point of view which is an outsider of this original combination. The feelings of this secondary character, her events, her point of views. I hope that you'll be able to allow Athena and sometimes James to express themselves. Worth a try, don't you think? Gabriel & Athena, Book One: Fate (A Wattpad Featured Story)
FORMERLY TITLED "FATUM" Chosen as a Wattpad Featured Story in May 2017 There's a reason high school senior Athena Thorpe spends every available moment reading books: fiction is always so much better than the real world. Even the unexpected scandal she suffered thanks to Jackson Montgomery was just a blip in her typically mundane existence in Sparrow, North Carolina. But no story could ever compare to the life-altering events that occur when Gabriel Valente moves into town. Being the son of a notorious crime lord and having grown up on the streets of Manhattan, Gabriel defies all the expectations the students of Sparrow High have for him, including Athena's. She never expected he would match her interest in the written word, or his unlikely grand gestures and definitely not the immediate but intense feelings which cause them to spiral into a secret relationship. A relationship that hinders on Gabriel's uncertain future, which could find him being the heir to the mob throne. Whether or not she wants to admit it, Athena knows the world Gabriel comes from is a dark and violent one. It's just really easy to pretend it doesn't exist within the bubble that is Sparrow. Yet, no matter how much we pretend, reality is never far away, with Gabriel and Athena learning a tragic lesson about choice and consequence a little too late. When you finally decide what you want most in life, the next question becomes: will fate agree?Complete
