First and foremost, I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for giving The Concubine a chance. Your support and love for the story mean the world to me, and I'm so grateful for every reader who has followed along with the journey.
However, I've decided to take down the original version of The Concubine for a few important reasons.
1. The story was originally written in third person point of view, but I realized that this style doesn't align well with my natural writing flow. I've had difficulty fully expressing the emotions and nuances of the characters in third person, so I've decided to completely rewrite the story in first person to stay true to my style and vision.
2. After some reflection, I realized that the original character names felt too modern for the time and setting I wanted to portray. It bothered me, so I've changed the names to something more fitting and authentic for the historical-inspired world I'm trying to create.
3. In the process of reworking the story, I might make slight changes to the plot itself. These changes are to better serve the flow and depth of the story, and I hope they'll enhance your experience with the characters and world.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding! I truly hope you'll continue to support *The Concubine* as I embark on this fresh start. Please remember, this story is completely a product of my imagination-any historical references are purely coincidental.
