In April of 2015, I was raped in my school by an upperclassman. I started writing this as a way to cope, and desensitize myself from the situation. This is the story of what happened before, during, and after. Names have been changed, but the experience is real.

Growing Pains
In the day-to-day trenches of high school, it is almost the default-setting to believe we are the main character of our own coming-of-age story. This is not wrong. It's just ours isn't the only story there is. The jocks, the nerds, the cheerleaders, the losers, the stoners, the fangirls, the skaters. Everyone's the realest most important person in existence, all of them, at the same time, first-person narrators to their own stories, stumbling into each other's plot lines, defying the status-quo, catalysts to ups and downs. A deconstruction of all the high school tropes and cliches written over the years, a deep-dive into the psyche of students trying to finish high school while going through irrevocable self-discovery, the most improbable of connections, and the insufferable pains of growing up.Complete
The Layers
This is... my autobiography, essentially. Memoirs, unspoken words I wish to say to my abusers, recounts, recollections, accounts of all of my experiences as a survivor of complex trauma.

That Night
It was a one-night-stand gone wrong. A heat-of-the-moment, unintended slip-up that was all my fault. I swore that I wouldn't do it - even punched my best friend in the face to prove it. But I ruined everything: our friendship, her innocence, my life. It was supposed to get her out of my system, but now I want her more than ever.Complete
