Within the Forest (Werewolf Solangelo AU)
Nico di Angelo is a normal 16 year old boy. Or so people thought. Behind closed doors, Nico is a depressed teen dealing with his abusive boyfriend Nathaniel. One day, the abuse becomes too much and Nico runs into the woods in seek of escape. What he didn't realize is, there is more creatures in the forest he's grown up near almost all his life. Will Solace is a normal 18 year old. In his world that is. Will is a werewolf. He is the heir to his father's throne. As the Alpha's son, he needs a mate in order to rule the pack and carry on the Alpha generation. But, each werewolf is linked with another person at birth. The parents have nothing to do with it. He was supposed to find his mate at age 16, but he hasn't. His wolf, Sol, has been saying he feels like the werewolf females are not his type. And when his parents allow him to meet werewolf males, he still doesn't feel any connection to any of them. When he sees a small male human brought forcefully into the pack, he suddenly feels something he hadn't felt before. A mate's connection. But, how would Will's pack react to having a human alpha? After a wild party on the last day of Junior year, Will Solace may have...accidentally...got way caught up in the alcohol. He may even had hooked up with someone who, in a million years, he would never hook up with. Especially when it risked revealing his sexuality he had been repressing for years. Although, he doesn't entirely remember it, and neither does Nico di Angelo-the annoying know-it-all who always seemed to be more focused on studying than partying. In fact, he didn't even want to go to the party, he was dragged to the place by his step-sister, and he's never been more annoyed by a jock than he has with Will. Plus, he's in love with the hopelessly beautiful Percy Jackson. The two would definitely prefer to go their separate ways-except for the fact that they both ended up at the same summer internship fighting for the same position. To find his soulmate and be whisked away from his life. He was a prince, yes, but he didn't like his life. Being controlled all the time, having his life already picked out for him, none of it. He would rather be poor than have servants constantly waiting at his beck and call. When a mysterious stranger arrives at his ball, will his dream come true? Soulmates are decided before you're born. Everyone's traits are carefully picked to match the other so they are perfect for each other. Tattoos appear on your body to match your soulmate's personality, favorite things, and important events every birthday you have. Will has 19, Nico has 18. When you meet the other, you get one final tattoo that represents the two of you together and when you learn their name, it appears under it. This is a soulmate Cinderella au. Only first few chapters will be the Cinderella part and then I'm going to write what happened after for the rest. By the way, I'm not nonbinary and am used to writing Nico as a boy so please correct me if I make a mistake with the pronouns or something isn't accurate. He only speaks Italian, and gets frustrated with the people they can't understand him.
