The Rejects

Nobody knew.

Nobody cared.

Nobody would ever want to see what horrors the rejected pokemon would dare to bring.

Until Emily came along.

The world is full of pokemon of all sizes and behaviors. But more often than not, trainers reject their best friends just because of how they look. Well, a 17 year old girl named Emily would not let a single pokemon die out in the world just because of how they were born.

Emily is also a reject. At birth she had to stay in the hospital longer than usual because of unknown reasons to her parents. Her mother saw soon saw the problem. She disowned her daughter. She was left for nothing, except her father, who did not feel the same as his wife. So, he divorced the woman that he thought was better than seeing only what was on the outside. Shortly after he and Emily went to a house deep in the countryside. One day, when Emily was 13, her father was murdered by someone that was unknown to Emily. She fled to the real world only to see Pokemon hiding in alleys and holes in the ground, rejected by their owners. She knew she needed to help them. So that's how her little forest sanctuary was made.

Four years later, a mysterious figure came to her refuge, needing help. She embarks on a journey with him or her, encountering many obstacles along the way. But something is waiting for them back at the sanctuary...
