Ha. I know what your thinking,"Oh. This is a cliche story in which a girl falls in love with a guy but it's forbidden and no one can know about it. But of course, in the end, everyone knows, but they are all okay with it, making the couple live life happily ever after."

So here's the real summary :D
Alyssa has always been the perfect, popular girl that everyone wants to date. But she has a secret. One that she can never reveal. To anyone.
She's unstable; insecure. She can't open up to anyone due to her father's death. He was the only one she could confide in. Her girl friends are phonies that only want her for her popularity, her guy friends only want to date her for her money, and her mother is....well, busy. She feels like a stranded person at sea; isolated and lost.
Now in her final year of high school, she isn't sure what to do. Or where life will lead her to. Her mother is a famous lawyer, but she has no intentions of following her footsteps. She's great at math and science, has a deep passion for music and art, and loves acting and volleyball.
To make matters worse, Alyssa is slowly forgetting small, but important, things about her father. Like what his favorite color was. Or when he was born.
But now Alyssa is doing the unthinkable. Through all this chaos, she has met a guy. A guy who she may be falling in love with. Will he love her for who she is? Can she open up to him, and pour her insecurities out without doubt or worry?
