I've heard a lot of times 'you can be whatever you want in life', yeah, right.. That doesn't always happen. It's not as easy as your abc's or 123's or just saying it. You've got to actually work all of your life for it. This is what this story is about. A young girl, Shadow, that wishes to become a shape-shifting superhero, her best friend Void also wants to be able to do the same. But what will happen to their friendship? What will they do? Read on to find out... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'Hey! H-hey, you!,' she screamed into the darkness. The creature turned around, to look at her. Orange flaming eyes staring at her with confusion but also with a bit of anger. 'What are you..?',. It got colder. The strange creature narrowed it's eyes and tilted it's head in confusion. 'What's your-', her sentence was interupted with a deep voice. '...Void',. (...) Shadow woke up in horror. She put her hand onto her face and thought. 'What just happened? God is this all there is?',. Got up, stretched and opened the window. A chilly breeze blew into the room. It got as cold as in the dream. 'Ugh.. I think i've gotten a fever..',. Shadow randownstairs, looked for the termomiter and checked if she had a fever. '35 degrees celsius..', she thought. 'Not so bad..',. The doorbell rang. 'Who would be calling at this time of the day?',. She opened the door. There was a tall man in a dark outfit, suddenly out of no where, he punched Shadow. It was a really hard punch, she fell asleep. (...) Later she woke up again. It was dark, gloomy, sticky and she felt really uncomfortable. There was blue glowing flowers everywhere. The flowers were small and it looked like they were showing a pathway. She slowely got up. A very soft and calm song started to play. She slowely walked along the path that the flowers led her to. To be continuted in part two...

"Actually I do. I'm working", I said with no emotion at all. They didn't deserve it. They don't get to know how I have felt through the years without them, I'm happy here. "Nope, your coming out to dinner away from this dump with your brothers and father", He said whilst looking around in discust. I rolled my eyes at him which he looked pretty shocked at. "Look Stone, Im not that 6 year old you can just boss around and fuck over anymore, I can take care of myself, Ive been doing that for my whole life so far, so why not the rest, so either order something or get the fuck out", I said to him getting faster and faster as I spoke. The boys gasped when I swore at Stone. He, on the other hand, looked furious. Matilda is 16 years old, with 5 older brother, 5 terrifying older brothers in who she hates with a passion. They left her to deal with their father wrath, to live their own lives far away. She now lives alone, in a dangerous and dirty neighbourhood, but she doesn't care, as long as she is far away from those she is suppose to call family. But when they all turn up for Christmas, hoping for happy times and warm hugs, she is instilled with fear and pure anger. Will she accept them, or will they stop trying? She couldn't care less, she was always the forgotten child. #1 - abuse #1 - brothers #2 - family #1 - siblings #1 - forgotten #1 - independent #1 - only daughter #1 - alone #1 - Brother
