Twenty-six years ago, a serial killer entered the Tomlinson household and shot and killed the eldest son, Louis, then turned the gun on himself. Flash forward to present day, Hayden moves into a house filled with memories that linger even after all these years. The house her father bought for her is filled with the pain from that night, and Hayden finds herself pitying the young man that was murdered while protecting his younger sisters back in 1977. What she never thought she would find herself doing would be falling in love with someone whose heart hasn't beaten for longer than she's lived.
